GHOST TOWN

Brutalist and modern architecture

This town, is coming like a ghost town...

Walking around an empty Barbican Center early in the morning to start this architectural series, I found myself humming this song from The Specials. Music is always a part of my inspiration, as you have probably noticed, each category or name of a photo is actually a name of a song.

It's my love for shapes, symmetry, composition and rhythm (also colour but not that visible here) that has pushed me to start a graphic designer career a few years ago. Same rules apply in photography. I do enjoy modernism and brutalism when it comes to architecture. Concrete and bright plain colours are eye candy to me. I thought it was time to pay homage to those beautiful lines.
